Applying for a Disaster Assistance Loan
Members who have suffered damage can borrow up to $7,500, with payments deferred for 90 days. If a higher amount is desired, you may speak to a loan officer. Members need to be residents of California. This loan is available to current members in good standing. Current member is defined as those with an established membership open more than 30 days.

If you have been affected by a natural disaster, please contact your insurance company immediately. After you have contacted your insurance company:

*APR = Annual Percentage Rate. Example rate of 5.5% Annual Percentage Rate (APR) with 36 monthly payments = $30.20 per $1,000 borrowed. To qualify for this loan you must be a current member of The Police Credit Union with proof of residence in the affected area. Current member is defined as those with an established membership open more than 30 days. Rate, terms, and conditions of the Emergency Assistance Loan are subject to change and this loan can be discontinued without notice.
